Forge is where the real work happens. Not polished products — raw experiments, learning logs, and systems built to understand how AI actually works under the hood.
The Journey
I started in software engineering — building full-stack apps, shipping features, solving user problems. The AI wave wasn't new to me, but it became impossible to ignore when language models started doing things that felt like reasoning.
So I started building. Not following tutorials — actually constructing systems, breaking them, understanding why they broke, and building them again. Forge is the documentation of that process.
The projects here range from RAG pipelines for Sri Lankan education to fine-tuning LLMs on domain corpora to computer vision experiments on local datasets. Each one is a question I wanted to answer about how these systems actually work.
Most experiments are in progress. That's the point — this isn't a portfolio of finished products. It's a lab notebook.
